“5 Best TV Post-Production Books of All Time”
Great textbook covering post-production workflow for filmmakers, starting in prep and taking you all the way to distribution, covering things seldom talked about like legal, piracy and archiving. I wasn’t sure it would have all of the detail I needed for film school, it’s move a wide view of the process. I find it incredibly useful. It doesn’t spend a lot of time on each area, but it gives you an idea as a new filmmaker what tools, crew and knowledge you’ll need to complete your film and the pitfalls you can run into.

Good to have a reference book out there for people who are looking for beginning, middle, end to film-making. Sooo many books out there are outdated, it’s great to have something that’s more current and deals with things like OTTs & even the importance of post-production, which many times is an afterthought.

This is a very informative book written by some very knowledgeable industry professionals. It is an essential book with flowcharts, glossary, example of schedules, and much more. Plus, it is updated to cover growing formats such as VR and AR. If you want to be in post-production and have a leg up, get this and read it.

I’m constantly referencing this book. So much I thought I knew, I actually didn’t know. It’s easy to read and has helped me with a current project I’m working on.
